Let me introduce you to my new home!

It's a 1993 Chevrolet "Beauville" G-series handi-van which will be referred to as "Farley" from here on out! In honour of the comedic genious: Chris Farley

I've been really busy getting the van turned into a livingroom on wheels. It came as just a simple handi van with a wheelchair lift in the back along with two buckets seats for passengers in the cargo area. I ripped out a seat and the lift and I'm in the process of filling every possible space with hooks and shelves and tables and brackets to hold all of my junk that I want to carry around with me.

Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be axquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all ones's lifetime.

-Mark Twain

For the last year of my life I've been laying low and saving and getting ready for the big move into my new place. I'm finally going from renter to owner.... owner of my very own van! I've had it really lucky in the last while. I was able to save alot because I found a gig to be the caretaker of an old bakery.. and before that a housesitter for my sister and her family. I've been rent free for nearly a year now and I can't go back to being a renter... throwing away thousands and thousands of dollars each year with nothing to show.

So, if you need me I'll be "living in a van down by the river"
